THE
GOOD HUNTER DECALOGUE
Rules
that every sport hunter has to know and respect
1.- Before starting the hunting revise
carefully the shootgun and clean the inside of the cannons.
2.- Handle the rifles and shootguns as if they were charged. Don´t forget
the criolle proverb: "Shootguns and rifles are charged by the devil…".
3.- When covered, inside the vehicle, when you cross a wire fence or a river,
discharge the hunting weapon and handle it opened.

4.- Follow the legal dispositions referred
to the register and control of rifles and shootguns.
5.- Private properties are inviolated . Don`t hunt in private territories
without the corresponding authority of the owner.
6.- Don`t charge your cartridges with
gunpowder, or whatever homemade element. They are dangerous and they can
make to explode the cannons and they can provoke serious injuries.
7.- Shoot when you are sure to kill the hunting animal. If an animal is just
injured, you just lose it. Don`t dispair, and look for the animal till you
find it.

8.- Don`t make a harvest with the hunting
animals. Just shoot the number of animals authorized by the law. Think that
also your sons and grandsons would like to hunt.
9.- Your dog is your teached and desinterested collaborator. Don`t demand it
things that you couldn`t teach it. It is your friend, so then, take care of
it as such.

10.- Don`t drink spirits before or during the hunting. Be
responsable.
