THE SWORD OF ELENDIL.  NARSIL SWORD

The sword of Elendil, call Narsil sword, is perhaps the most famous sword in "The Lord of the Rings". At the end of the second age of the average Earth, the leaf of the Narsil sword broke, when Elendil fell in the last alliance of man and elfos in the great battle against Sauron, creating fragments of the Narsil sword.

Isildur, the son of Elendil, used the broken sword to cut the ring of the finger of Sauron, doing to vanish its dark to be able and hiding it in the shades.

The Sword of Elendil, Narsil sword is one of the most famous swords.

The rest of the Narsil sword stayed in Rivendel, the home of Elrono, that maintained it out of danger. The legend says that the Narsil sword will be forged and the king will return.

The sword of Elendil, has inscriptions in Elven language.

The sword has engraving in pomo runas elven that says "Narsil essenya. Macil meletya telchar carnéron navrotessë", that it is translated as "Nasil is my name. A powerful sword. Telchar did Norgrod to me".

The sword of Elendil, was broken in the great battle against Sauron.
