The Toledo manufactured Marto has made the Don Quixote sword in the occasion of the celebration of IV the Centenary of the first edition of this work of Miguel de Cervantes. These Don Quixote swords are special because they are based on the classic swords of the time.
The grip of the sword Don Quixote is formed by two shells that cover and protect the hands. In these shells of the sword it has recorded two scenes of the novel, in one of them they appear riding Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. The other scene, is the representation of the well-known battle of Don Quixote against the wind mills. Another characteristic of this sword is that it has a very fine leaf, superfine type, with a channel in the means that were used then because it facilitated the extraction of the leaf of the body of the adversary. Don Quixote sword of special edition with gold and silver finish. |
