Holbein Mercenary Dagger - Ref 404483

Simple but ingenious in design, it was a very effective dagger when wielded by Swiss mercenaries during the 1500-1600s. It features a hand forged 1065 high carbon steel blade with a full tang. Hardened to 52 RC. The pieces are also handmade and finished in solid steel with a dark patina. This double-edged dagger is effective in the hand and wickedly fast. The contoured grip is made of stained wood. The pommel has 3 studs on its edge.

Includes a genuine leather sheath decorated with hand-applied aged steel reinforcements.
