Work Sharp Blade grinding attachment

This elaborate attachment for the Ken Onion Edition of the Knife & Tool Sharpener expands the range of functions of the belt grinder and is suitable for more extensive revisions and for all sharpening and honing work on blades. Due to the changeable geometry and the adjustable band angle from 10° to 35°, cutting edges can be machined from convex to almost flat. It can also be used to work on the contour of a blade.

Please note that this attachment is only recommended for experienced users, since the blade does not run through a guide here, but is guided free hand to the tape that is preset in the angle. A flat support in the zero position supports the user here. The belt speed is 1200 to 2800 SFM (surface feet per minute). Please also note that the Blade Grinder attachment is not intended to give a complete grind to blade blanks.

Supplied with one tape each (1" x 18") in grit X65 (equivalent to P220 grit), X22 (equivalent to P1000 grit), X4 (equivalent to P3000 grit), P12,000 micromesh.

The attachment cannot be operated alone, the Ken Onion Edition of the Knife & Tool Sharpener from Work Sharp is mandatory.
