Even before the Tour de France could establish itself as the world"s premier bike race, ancient heroes battled it out on two wheels over uneven cobblestones, dusty gravel roads and sometimes short, dangerous climbs. Steel frame, cotton jersey, casquette, single gear but heroic mustache were the usual garb in which to tackle the relentless 250km of classic one-day races. From this nostalgic magic came the five monuments of cycling, which still inspire numerous cycling fans today. The first of these traditional one-day classics found its origins in Belgium and France before 1900 and brought fame and honor to the winners.

Böker brings back a piece of history and introduces the Böker Bicycle Race as a new edition of the knife of the same name that appeared around 1900. The special model sheet, which is limited to 300 pieces worldwide, shows a classic bicycle race in a picturesque landscape based on a historical model. The carefully restored motif, laser-engraved in multiple layers, occupies nearly the entire blade, while the historic H. Boker & Co logo adorns the blade pitch.

The 5/8-Inch Blade wide is made of durable carbon steel has a straight head and represents the versatility, robustness and simplicity of those classic bikes that needed to be armed with fixed gear for all terrains: the Boker Bicycle Race is not inferior in terms of shaving. The noble satin finish and the unilateral serration complete the heroic profile of the knife. The convex black plastic handle would be refined with two nickel silver rivets. It is delivered with a certificate of authenticity and historical packaging. Handmade in the Boker knife factory in Solingen.
