Knights Templar Helmet - Sugarloaf - Ref 300552

This Sugarloaf type Templar helmet is made up of a conical upper part and the entire front is decorated with the cross of the Knights Templar. Handcrafted from 18 gauge steel. The Sugarloaf Templar Helmet is padded on the inside and has a soft adjustable liner.

The Sugarloaf style of this helmet was a precursor to what would become the Great Helmet and eventually gave move to the lighter bascinet style. This replica dates from the late 13th and early 14th century.

Its conical top deflects blows from a sword. It is decorated on the entire front with the cross of the Knights Templar in aged brass. Made of 18-gauge steel. The Sugarloaf Templar helmet is padded on the inside and has a soft adjustable lining that allows a perfect fit to any size.
