Roman Greaves - Steel - Ref 300010

Greaves were designed to protect the lower leg from being cut by a sword or from fierce kicks that occurred during battle. Not all soldiers wore greaves although they were very popular with Roman military units.

Our replica Roman greaves are made from 18 gauge steel. They are based on designs depicted on the reliefs on Trajan"s Column in Rome . They have an articulated knee piece for added protection.

Can be tied with leather laces or straps of your choice for a more personalized look.
