The Spyderco Gauntlet Sharpening System is an easy-to-use sharpening system that allows first-time users to achieve razor-sharp edges in just a few minutes, without the need for water, electricity, oil or complicated stands. For completely worn edges or dull knives, the Gauntlet Premium version adds two more CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) stones to the two fine-grained stones.

The plastic base integrates a hand guard and features holes that hold the sharpening stones at a perfect angle of 40º -20º on each side- to create long-lasting edges. Star holes allow sharpening stones to be oriented, for long contact surfaces for smooth edges or small teeth for jagged edges.
