Böker Manufactory Solingen Sports knife deer horn

The six-part Böker sports knife has been handcrafted in our Solingen factory since 1869. The concept, which has been copied many times over the course of history, combines numerous useful tools in a high-quality pocket knife. It has been in production longer than any other multifunction knife. And as long as Boker is making knives in Solingen, we will also be making this classic.

The sports knife reveals itself at first glance with its unmistakable shape. Even when closed, you can already see three typical elements of the practical model: The polished nickel silver- Jaws at the front and back, the bracket for mounting a snap hook for a chain or strap and the tapering of the back of the handle at the front, i.e. in the area of ??the main blade tang. The resulting gentle semi-hollow forms a perfect support for the thumb when you hold the knife in your hand for cutting. The traditional design is perfectly pocket-friendly and offers clear practical advantages. You always need two hands to extend the instruments, the blades cannot be locked. Instead, the classic support springs keep the knife open.

It is equipped with two blades, a can and bottle opener, a reamer and reamer as well as a corkscrew and a slotted screwdriver. Both blades are made from 4034 steelMade from the classic Solingen blade steel, which combines corrosion resistance, edge retention and easy resharpening. The veteran of our model range has polished nickel silver bolsters and hard-wearing scales made from genuine staghorn . Thanks to the practical lanyard clip, the knife can be easily attached to bags or other objects.
