New Fällkniven NL5 IDUN Cos knife.
Fällkniven presents its new Northern Lights series knife.
The main difference compared to the other NL5 IDUN models is its laminated blade, forged with a special cobalt steel (CoS) edge.
Overall, this means that the edge is substantially stronger and stays sharper longer. And the sides are made of tough 420J2 elasticity stainless steel. This combination achieves torsional strength and edge durability all in one blade.
Unlike previous knife models in the series, the NL5 is slightly rounder and smoother in shape, and therefore an excellent choice as a hunting knife.
The handle is made of oxhide leather that provides a secure grip and is resistant to oil, solvents and is impervious to water.
The CoS laminated blade is 5mm thick, tough for all cutting tasks, but with the laminate technology it provides an additional 20% strength and flexibility.
The convex edge is the best combination of cutting performance and edge strength that Fällkniven achieves with craftsmanship.
