OPERATING MODES:

STANDARD MODE.

Standard mode measures the distance in a straight line to the target you are aiming at. It is measured to the nearest yard/meter. When nothing appears in the aiming mode area of the display (to the left of the distance), you are in Standard mode.

Active scanning: If you press and hold the POWER button while in Standard mode, the rangefinder will scan continuously so you can move around and get constant distance updates.

RAIN MODE

Rain mode measures the distance in a straight line to the target, but ignores any interference from falling raindrops.

HUNTING MODE

The HUNT mode measures the distance in a straight line to the target, but ignores any interference from long grass or brush between you and the target, ideal for measuring the distance to a deer walking through long grass or forest.

When Hunting mode is activated, the Hunting mode icon will have a circle around it.

FLAG MODE

Flag mode measures the distance in a straight line to the flag by actively looking for the flag in the foreground, ideal for measuring the distance to the flag and aiding in pole selection. When Flag mode is activated, the icon will have a circle around it.
