The Cudeman 386-D seaman's knife has a 7 cm long blade, 2.8 mm thick, 2 cm wide, and a satin finish. The handle is 9.5 cm long and is made of birch with a red separator. The locking system is rear-locking.

The seaman's knife's blade is made of Böhler N690co steel and has a hardness of 60/61 HRc. The blade ends in a parrot-beak point.

This is a lightweight knife, weighing approximately 80 grams.
