The Spyderco Chaparral Sun & Moon knife stands out for being the first model in the Spyderco Chaparral range that adds G-10 material scales. This Spyderco knife is without a doubt special, since it has shades of color that represent the Sun on one side and the Moon on the reverse, adding meticulously cared for inlays on both sides of the handle. The white scale on the reverse features a red G-10 inset.

The obverse features a black scale accented by a mother-of-pearl inlay. Both inlays are perfect circles and fit into their respective scales before being sanded and polished. The result is an impressive design that is reminiscent of Yin and Yang, the ancient Chinese philosophical symbol that represents the concept of duality in nature. Thanks to the design and construction of the scales, this collector"s knife weighs only 65 grams. It does not have inner blades in the handle so it allows you to fold the knife blade and houses a locking mechanism to give you total security when you apply force.
